An application for free studentship

Sir,

With due respect and humble submission I beg to lay before you the following few lines for favour of your sympathetic consideration and benevolent judgment, that I am in class IX of your school. My father is very poor. He is a daily wager and yet maintains a family of six members. He has no other source of income. He is quite unable to pay my school fees anymore. He has paid my fees for the last year. I stood first in the class at the last annual examination and lam sure that I shall try my best to secure first position in H.S.C. Exam.

Therefore, I pray you to be good and kind enough to consider my case and grant me a full free studentship so that I may be able to continue my studies. I shall be ever grateful to you.
