ENGLISH ESSAY RAINY DAY


Introduction:-
Generally rainy days are seen in the rainy season. It is a day of continuous rainfall. It may rain with lightening, thunder and hailstones. A rainy day is a mixture of comforts and discomforts.

Description :-
Dark clouds cover the sky. The day seems gloomy. Rain falls in heavy showers. Wind blows in violent force. The air feels damp. People don't get sunshine. Birds are never seen. Frogs croak all along. Sometimes rainbow falls on the sky.

Advantages :-
The rainy day brings joy and happiness to some. It gives rest to many hard working people. Children become happy. They get a holiday to float paper boats. People enjoy hot drinks. A rainy day is a best day for the poets and thinkers.

Disadvantages :-
On a rainy day people get a lot of troubles. They can not go out. The schools are closed. Fuels are drenched. Roofs begin to leak water. Roads become muddy. Small ditches appear here and there. Clothes and other things become wet and damp. The streets are flooded. Sometimes the traffic is suspended for hours.

Conclusion:-
In spite of disadvantages people welcome a rainy day. Because it helps are vegetation, crops and gives water. It is a good day for all.
