A ROAD ACCIDENT


          Introduction:-  Accident is accident. There is no explanation for il. It is no doubt a misfortune. It comes without any notice. An accident may be minor major. It may take one's life or hurt grievously. Now-a-days road accident is very common. Almost every day accidents happen in towns and cities. We always find some news relating to accident in daily news papers.
Type of accidents:-  Collision of vehicles is the most common type of accident. Trucks, Buses, Taxis, Cars dash against one another. Sometimes they dash against trees and bridges. Sometimes the vehicles run over pedestrians. Most accidents take place on account of rash driving. Some drivers are not well trained. Some drive in a drunken state. Accidents also happen as a result of mechanical defects of the vehicles.

Causes:-  Some accidents were caused by the people for disobeying the rules of the road. On the main roads and streets of our country traffic is becoming greater and greater every day. Streams of buses, motorcars and trucks move along the main roads at terrific speed.
How to prevent:-  People in large numbers move cress-cross along the roads. They are in such a hurry that they forget the rules of the roads. In many cases drivers try to overtake other vehicles and cause accidents. Any ways accidents result in the loss of both life and property. Traffic may also be suspended for hours together.
Conclusion:- To prevent accidents all should obey the rules of the road. Traffic rules should be strictly implemented. Vehicles should not be allowed to exceed the prescribed speed limits. Narrow roads should be made wider. The civic sense of the people should be developed. All should be taught about the road safety.
